Dream - The application of makeup that is too short can make the makeup easily smudge. Especially, if it is not done with the right product selection and technique.
While the highly detailed makeup process can take hours. As a result, Dream's Friends cannot apply this makeup technique in their daily activities.
Although so, it does not become an obstacle to appear perfect in daily activities. Dream friends can learn basic makeup techniques to know what needs to be done and what doesn't need to be done when applying makeup on various occasions. Want to know easy basic makeup techniques that beginners can imitate? Check out the tutorial from Beauty Content Creator, Rachelia Rapha below.
1. Use Skincare
Use skincare as usual before applying makeup. Start with face wash, toner, moisturizer, and sunscreen when engaging in activities in the morning or afternoon.
If you want to make long-lasting makeup, Dream Friends can minimize the number of products used. Choose lightweight and easily absorbent products if you want to make makeup application more comfortable and long-lasting. Make sure the skincare used is suitable for the skin condition and leave it on for 5 minutes after application until it is fully absorbed.
2. Use Primer
Use primer according to your needs if you want to create long-lasting makeup. Use hydrating primer for dry skin. If your skin is oily and has large pores, use pore minimizing primer. Dream friends can skip this step if they want to be more practical and save time.
3. Use Cushion/Foundation/BB Cream
After absorbing the primer, apply and spread foundation, cushion, BB cream, or skin tint. You can use a sponge to make it easier to spread the makeup.
"Do not forget to blend the base makeup near the hairline, chin, and neck to achieve a more even skin tone."
4. Use Concealer
Apply concealer on hyperpigmentation such as acne scars, dark spots, and dark circles under the eyes. Some people do this step before applying base makeup. If you don't have any hyperpigmentation or if it is already covered by base makeup, you can skip this step.
5. Eyebrow Makeup
Groom your eyebrows while waiting for the base makeup to dry. Start by combing them using a spoolie and applying eyebrow pencil. Apply the eyebrow pencil according to the shape of your natural eyebrows.
6. Use PowderBlend loose powder all over the face with a brush to create a long-lasting and smudge-proof base makeup. 7. Use BronzerApply bronzer in several areas of the face, such as the forehead edges, below the cheekbones, beside the nose bone, and around the lower jaw to enhance the shape of your face.
8. Use Blush Do not forget to use blush in the right amount near the cheekbones until it reaches the inner lower corner of the eye to achieve a natural look. 9. Eye Makeup If you want a more practical approach, use a neutral eyeshadow color such as brown, coral, or pink on the entire eyelid. Blend it with a blending brush. Add a darker color to the outer corner to add dimension.
Add the use of mascara and eyeliner or one of them to make the appearance of the eyes more attractive and fresh.
10. Use Lipstick and Setting Spray
Use lip products to complete your makeup. If necessary, use setting spray to make your makeup last longer.
