Dream - Dea Ananda is one of the singers who colored the music industry in the 90s. Some of her songs have become hits such as 'Baju Baru' (New Clothes), 'Komidi Putar' (Carousel), and 'Rame-rame' (Crowded).

Recently, Dea recreated the music video for 'Baju Baru' for a Ramadan campaign on an international over-the-top (OTT) platform. The 37-year-old singer gave her all in the performance. From the makeup style, hair style, clothing, to the choreography with background dancers. Dea's appearance was praised for her youthful look in the music video. "Start getting ready at 5 in the morning"

The process of making the video clip is quite long. Dea had to undergo a makeup process from 5 in the morning to be able to perform all day. The members of the young music group Trio Kwek-kwek also appeared with plain and glowing faces without makeup.

"The makeup theme today is 'Re-create Dea Ananda in the 90s era'," said Niken as she started the makeup process using various cream-textured products, powder, and eye makeup."

Use Bob Styled Wig

Not shy away from it, Dea wore a bob-styled wig to match her appearance in the music video for the song 'Baju Baru' when she was a child.

Dea ensures that her hijab style is exactly like the one her mother used to make. "Because the one who styled Mba Dea back then was her mother. Isn't it amazing... Because back then there was no such thing as a stylist, they say."

Before starting the video clip shooting, Niken perfected Dea's makeup with a brush. The face of the 'Pinky Promise' film actress looks dimensional with soft contours, fresh due to blush and pink lipstick, and flawless.

During the shooting, Dea appeared to be fully committed in performing all scenes and choreography while lip-syncing to her childhood song.

It can also be seen when the actors of the film 'Pizza Man' had to hang on a large clock needle several times to get the perfect shot.

"At 9 PM, the video clip shooting was completed. Dea, Niken, and the crew present at that moment felt relieved to have successfully finished the shooting process."

Not forgetting, Niken showed the results of her makeup on Dea's face. The results of her makeup looked flawless and fresh with simple eye makeup. Dea's eyes looked rounder with thick eyelashes, the use of contact lenses, and natural eyebrows.

Niken also makes Dea's face look fresher with a little highlighter on her cheekbones and nose. Even though she has reached the age of 37, Dea's face doesn't age. No wonder some people thought the video clip was performed by AI to resemble her childhood self.

"Yesterday, many people said that this is AI (Artificial Intelligence). Oh no, it's not true.. No, this is the work of a creative team and indeed Mba Dea is a Vampire, she never ages.. Is that right, guys???" wrote Niken in the caption column. The caption is also supported by the opinion of netizens who suspect the same thing. "But I really thought it was a video of Kak Dea when she was little. Turns out it's a new video. She looks so young," said @nurfattini_sulistyo. "But when this clip appeared, I thought it was an old video.. But upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a recreation.. So cool," said @donnamanoppo.
