Olive Oil, the Key to Dewi Sandra's Glowing Skin

Dream - Not everyone is willing to spend time and money to buy and use layers of skincare products every day. There are still many women who take care of their skin with as minimal products as possible.

Dewi Sandra is one of them. Apparently, the skincare routine of Agus Rahman's wife is very simple. The singer of 'Rindu Ini' prioritizes facial cleanliness to maintain skin health.

Starting from removing makeup to using a face cleanser that suits her. Then she applies olive oil to her entire face.

"Olive oil is very good for the skin. If I have an event, I just clean my face with soap, then apply olive oil to my face. Rub it all over my face," she said during the launch of Wardah's 'Bersama Lebih Bermakna' campaign at The Terrace Senayan, South Jakarta, on Monday, March 20, 2023.

Using olive oil is a mandatory thing for her before going to bed. She also uses it to maintain skin moisture that is often exposed to air conditioning during sleep at night.

"In the morning, if we sleep under the AC, we wash our face first. Then we follow the sunnah by using olive oil. If you look, the skin of people there (Arabs) is very good. Maybe they use olive oil," said Dewi.

Aside from her simple skincare routine, the singer of 'Aku Pulang' also controls her diet to stay healthy, thus maintaining the health of her skin.

Her food choices are not too difficult. "I eat anything as long as it is halal. Halal is good," Dewi said.
