1. Use Serum
"Before applying makeup, Maia uses a serum that can brighten the skin first. She does not apply it directly on the face."
The serum is poured onto the palm of the hand. After that, she rubs both palms before applying the serum to the entire face and neck. The product she uses contains alpha arbutin, tranexamic acid, niacinamide, glutathione, ceramide, licorice extract, and bisabolol. You can find these ingredients in various skincare products available in the market.
2. Use Moisturizer
After the serum has absorbed, Maia applies a moisturizer that can soothe the skin and strengthen the skin barrier.
Maia feels suitable using this moisturizer that contains multipeptide because her skin has rosacea and signs of aging on several parts of her face. The moisturizer is applied by making dots on several areas of the face and neck, then the product is spread using hands.
It also gently massages his/her face with fingertips to feel more relaxed while using skincare.
3. Use Sunscreen
After using a dermatologist-formulated serum and moisturizer, Maia applies sunscreen to protect her skin from sun exposure even though she spends more time indoors.
