First, place a small heat-resistant bowl in the middle of a wide pot, and add clean rose petals to the pot. Then, add enough distilled water to the pot to soak the flower petals. In this distillation method, use an inverted pot lid to collect the condensation formed by the boiling flower petals. To do this, flip the pot lid and place ice cubes on top of it.

When the water heats up and evaporates from the pot, it will condense on the lid and drip into the bowl. After boiling for 30-45 minutes, check the color of the flower petals to ensure that they have faded, indicating that the rose water is ready.

Rose water with distillation method contains high concentration so that if stored in the refrigerator it will remain effective for up to six months.
