Sunburned Skin, Immediately Do After Sun Care

Dream - Sometimes campus or office activities require us to be under the sun all day. Being exposed to the sun for hours, surely the skin needs extra care afterwards. 

If indeed Dream Friends have to be active outdoors, make sure to use sunscreen with sun protection formula (SPF) 50+. Apply at least 20 minutes before the skin is exposed to sunlight.

Reapply every 2/3 hours or when exposed to water. It should be noted that SPF application usually only lasts 80 minutes or 2 hours. Always remember that 90% of premature aging of the skin is caused by exposure to sunlight.

After being sunburned, make sure to do extra skin care. This is known as "after-sun care".

The sun produces harmful UV rays that can damage the skin. Therefore, taking care of the skin after being exposed to sunlight is very important.

What needs to be done for after sun-care?

1. Exfoliation
Exfoliation is one powerful way to remove dead skin cell buildup due to sun exposure. Dream Friends can use a gentle scrub 2-3 times a week. Don't do it every day.

2. Use Retinol

Use retinol and peptides. Retinol can repair sun-damaged skin by improving collagen production. Dream Friends can use retinol every two days at night until their skin becomes accustomed. Use peptides if irritation occurs.

3. Vitamin C

Combine sunscreen with vitamin C. This combination is a powerful ingredient for caring for the skin from sun exposure. Vitamin C is excellent as an antioxidant, neutralizing the harmful effects of UV rays and providing extra protection for the skin. Meanwhile, sunscreen focuses on blocking UV rays.

Do it at home after the skin is sunburned. You only need 5 minutes to make your skin smooth, bright, and radiant.
