Dream - Wedding events in each region usually have different rituals and cultures. Starting from attire, wedding decorations, to the events and rituals performed. Each region has its own uniqueness that is always interesting to observe.
Some typical cultures of certain regions are also often performed during the makeup process or wearing outfits. One of them is the fragrance spraying procession which is a Javanese bridal ritual. This ritual is done by spraying fragrance on the bride's body.
Usually, fragrances or perfumes are sprayed by blowing them slowly, but the method used by Designer Surya Abduh is slightly different. In his recent upload video, Surya sprays the wedding fragrance by directly spraying it from the perfume container onto the bride's entire body so that the traditional attire she wears smells fragrant throughout the event.
"Surya also circled around the bride to spray perfume evenly on the bride. Meanwhile, the bride stood still wearing traditional Javanese attire in black color, completed with head accessories."
This ritual is performed twice with different fragrances. Finally, Surya sprays perfume on the bride's neck and hands to evenly distribute the scent. Regardless of this tradition, the bride's appearance looks truly elegant with classic makeup and traditional Javanese attire with an extended outer part at the back.
Seeing the procession of the fragrant manten sembogo, netizens praised Surya's way of spraying perfume on the bride. This method makes the perfume spraying process more sacred.
