Using Highlighter with 2 Additional Products, the Result is More Flawless

Dream - Applying highlighter doesn't necessarily make the face naturally glowing. Highlighter applied in the wrong way can actually disrupt the appearance. 

Making natural highlighter application doesn't have to use expensive products. Friend of Dream just needs to use it in the right way.

Some makeup artists (MUA) like the owner of the account Instagram @themakeup_tgt use two additional products to make natural and perfect highlighter application. Here's how.

Step 1: Use Setting Spray

Spray the highlighter with setting spray first before taking it using a brush. This method aims to make the highlighter's pigmentation higher and its texture smoother.

Step 2: Take with a Fan Brush

Take the highlighter by tapping it with a fan brush. The finishing will be more flawless and neat.

Step 3: Apply in the Right Areas

Apply around the cheekbones with a brush that points towards the corner of the lips, cupid's bow, chin, forehead, and along the nose bone. Blend it by floating the brush so that the tip of the brush doesn't stick too much to the face and the result is more natural.

Use a different brush when applying highlighter on the tip of the nose. Friend of Dream can use a small brush with a slightly pointed end to apply highlighter in that area.

Step 4: Use Creamy Concealer or Foundation

Use concealer in the inner corner of the eyes before applying highlighter to ensure that the highlighter application is more radiant and the pigmentation is maximum.
