The instrument panel is designed to provide a wide field of view while driving, and is equipped with a modern floating head unit display and a modern digital AC that makes cabin temperature adjustment easier. In terms of comfort, daily activities are also made easier with the Key Free and Start/Stop Button features, making it easier to start the car, steering switches for audio control, and additional features such as auto retractable mirrors, power connectors in all passenger rows, and storage compartments in various places to make storing items easier.

In terms of safety, the Daihatsu Xenia is also equipped with the highest and first special features in its class, which are found in the A.S.A (Advanced Safety Assist) variant. As the name suggests, the A.S.A feature works by using sensors on the front windshield stereo camera that can detect objects in front of the car, and then provide a warning if the car is in potential danger. This feature has 6 functions, namely Pre-Collision Warning, Pre-Collision Braking, Pedal Misoperation Control, Front Departure Alert, Lane Departure Warning, and Lane Departure Prevention.

Daihatsu Xenia is also equipped with ABS (Antilock Brake System), EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), and ESS (Emergency Stop Signal) to maximize braking performance for safer and optimal driving. HSA (Hill Start Assist) is used to prevent the car from rolling backward when on an incline, VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) is used to prevent oversteer and understeer, which is available starting from the X variant with CVT transmission. It also has Dual Airbags, Auto Door Lock on all variants, as well as various safety features such as Immobilizer, Window Jam Protection, and Rear parking Camera & 360° Around View Monitor on some variants to assist the driver's visibility when maneuvering in reverse.
