Overall, BCA's total credit increased by 12.3 percent YoY to Rp766.1 trillion. SME credit became the segment with the highest credit growth, which increased by 16.4 percent YoY to Rp104.8 trillion. Meanwhile, corporate credit grew by 12.2 percent YoY, reaching Rp343.5 trillion, and commercial credit increased by 6.5 percent YoY, reaching Rp121.0 trillion.

Total transaction volume of BCA increased by 26.8 percent YoY, reaching 22 billion transactions. Mobile banking channel recorded the highest growth in transaction volume, growing by 43.4 percent YoY. Meanwhile, the number of customer accounts reached 38.8 million as of September 2023, or an increase of 17.1 percent YoY. "Regarding the myBCA application, which is being prepared to become a future integrated service application, BCA has added the Paylater BCA feature, which is a credit facility for alternative payments through QRIS scanning," said Jahja.

BCA also recorded an increase in net interest income (NII) of 21.3 percent YoY to Rp55.9 trillion. Non-interest income grew by 9.7 percent YoY to Rp18.3 trillion, supported by an increase in fee and commission income of 7.7 percent YoY. In total, operational income reached Rp74.2 trillion, an increase of 18.2 percent YoY. Meanwhile, the non-performing loan (NPL) ratio stood at 2.0 percent in the first nine months of 2023, down from 2.2 percent in the previous year.

On the funding side, CASA increased by 4.7 percent YoY to reach Rp869.8 trillion as of September 2023, contributing to around 80 percent of total third-party funds. Overall, total third-party funds grew by 6.2 percent YoY to Rp1.089 trillion, thus driving BCA's total assets up by 7.2 percent YoY to Rp1.381 trillion. The assets managed by BCA exceed more than half of the government's tax revenue target in 2023, amounting to Rp2.021 trillion.
