Dream — A non-profit performing arts community, Jakarta Art House, releases a teaser video and main poster of the musical theater titled 'Mamma Mia! The Musical' at @America, Pasific Place, on Thursday, December 7, 2023.
Supported by legendary music.
In 'Mamma Mia! the Musical' which will be held on December 22 to 23, 2023, it will bring a familiar story element among various circles. Colored with a family story, this theater musical will also be interspersed with romantic drama with music from legendary musicians such as ABBA.
Some timeless classic songs, such as Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, I Have A Dream, also enlivened the event. There are differences in Mamma Mia! The Musical between the original Broadway story and Jakarta Art House.
“Besides the differently designed set, there are several Indonesian elements that are incorporated and comedy scripts that are inserted,” said Fadli Hafizan, Founder of Jakarta Art House & Producer of Mamma Mia theater.
During the launch of the teaser and poster for 'Mamma Mia! The Musical', there are two posters that have different meanings.
The first poster depicts 'Dancing Queen', while the second poster shows the side of 'Mamma Mia' with images of the main characters. "The first poster showcases the dancing queen herself. And its nostalgic side wants to show the audience 'we're going to bring you to the nostalgic side, ABBA songs, and vibes eighties'," said Aldy Inzaghi, Co-Founder of Jakarta Art House.
The presence of this theater musical for two days at the Taman Ismail Marzuki Grand Theater (TIM) in Jakarta, also enlivens the celebration of Mother's Day to create a warm impression between mother and child.
