Dream - Eight years have passed, Siti Hajar Riska Ariyanti still remembers vividly the beautiful memories of participating in Dream Girls 2016. Through this signature event, she was able to meet creative, knowledgeable Muslim women and engage in activities that could inspire those around her.
Riska, a hijab-wearing woman from Bekasi, is the first champion of Dream Girls 2016, which brought her the opportunity to perform the Umrah pilgrimage for free as the main prize. At that time, the creative Muslimah event owned by Dream.co.id was still called Dream Girls before it changed to Dream Inspiring Women in 2018. Together with Salsabila Mayang Sari, who became the second champion of Dream Girls 2016, Riska departed for the Holy Land to perform the pilgrimage together.
"Although Dream.co.id only sent Riska and Mayang, familiarly known as Salsabila Mayang Sari, to the Holy Land, both of them quickly became acquainted with the pilgrims from Jakarta. The two Dream Girls 2016 appeared to be united in carrying out a series of umrah rituals together with other pilgrims by following the guidance of the mentors to comply with the Islamic religious laws."
"Before deciding to become a housewife and content creator like now, Riska was a reliable woman in dancing affairs."
Not only traditional dance, Riska is also skilled in modern dance. It is proven that Riska used to be a professional dance teacher in several Elementary Schools (SD) in Jakarta. According to her, the hijab that is attached to her body is not a hindrance to be creative in the world of art, including dancing. As for clothing when dancing, Riska does not worry too much about it. She continues to try to adjust in choosing clothes even though her teaching schedule is packed.
"For friends who wear hijab and want to (still) dance like me, but don't forget to adjust your clothes, the song, and the movements because from what I see now, those who wear hijab while dancing still haven't adjusted properly," said Riska during a casual conversation with the Dream.co.id Editorial team some time ago. Riska, who loves hip-hop dance, chooses a boyish fashion style to support her activities. Although she is currently not active in dancing, Riska's energy in pursuing the world of dance is still very strong."
"Breaking up, which makes the heart sad, anxious, and miserable, was once experienced by Riska when she was a teenager. However, this mother of three children admits that she does not want to be engulfed in deepening sadness."
Riska chooses to pour out her heart in the form of lyrics and melodies that she titled 'Tutup Buku' (Closing the Book). According to her feelings, Tutup Buku is interpreted by Riska as a step to end all the stories with her bitter lover.
"Different from sad songs in general, Sahabat Dream will listen to this Tutup Buku song with a more upbeat music. "From the story and the content of the song, especially if you pay attention to the lyrics about heartbreak. But actually, heartbreak doesn't have to be carried too sadly," said Riska when visiting the Dream.co.id office. "We can find other ways to stay happy because in my opinion, the past doesn't need to be forgotten, because it really can't be forgotten," she added."
Choosing to focus on taking care of three children and her husband at home, Riska still does not want to be left behind by the current trends. Filling her free time, Riska diligently creates video content containing parenting information or the latest lifestyle trends about family. It is not uncommon for Riska to invite her husband and three children to create videos together, which she uploads on her Instagram account @sitihajarriskaa.
"Now, Riska's followers on Instagram have reached over 22 thousand. Are you one of them?"
You can really be like Riska who successfully won a free umrah prize from Dream Inspiring Women, you know, Sahabat Dream.
