Beautiful and Elegant! Iriana Jokowi Wears Balinese Dancer Costume on Indonesian Independence Day

Iriana Jokowi's appearance became one of the highlights during the Independence Day Ceremony. She wore a Balinese Legong dancer costume dominated by golden yellow and dark blue colors.

Her face also looked sweet and elegant with classic makeup by Makeup Artist (MUA) Bennu Sorumba. Her eyebrows looked sharp and her false eyelashes looked natural.

The application of brown eyeshadow, contour, highlighter, and soft pink blush was also done perfectly.

Her lips were adorned with red lipstick, making Iriana's appearance stand out and elegant. Bennu also added three dots near the outer corner and Balinese accessories in the middle of her eyebrows to make Iriana's appearance identical to that of a Legong dancer.

The typical Balinese clothing and makeup on Iriana's face are claimed to represent the beauty of Indonesian women and have managed to touch the hearts of the Balinese people.

Iriana Jokowi's Style and Female Ministers Wearing Kebaya at the Palace, Who is the Most Stylish?

Dream - Iriana Jokowi and a number of female ministers wore kebaya while attending the Istana Berkebaya event in Jakarta on Sunday, August 6, 2023.

The event was part of the celebration of the 78th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, initiated by the Jakarta Provincial Government. The Istana Berkebaya event was attended by 401 participants with a 200-meter catwalk.

The female ministers also participated as models, walking on the catwalk to showcase the kebaya they were wearing. What did their appearances look like? Here are the pictures:

1. Iriana Jokowi

Iriana Jokowi wore a red Betawi kebaya accompanied by a matching colored headscarf. Iriana's appearance became even more elegant with black heels.

Before the event started, Iriana also wore a white Betawi kebaya when playing angklung with tens of thousands of people at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta.

2. Sri Mulyani

Finance Minister Sri Mulyani also became a model and walked on the catwalk.

Sri Mulyani confidently walked with a radiant smile while wearing a white Encim kebaya, Betawi batik fabric, and a red headscarf.

She also had her hair in a bun and added a pink woven handbag, making her appearance even more graceful.

3. Retno Marsudi

The female ministers all wore the same kebaya and fabric at the Istana Berkebaya event.

So, the kebaya and fabric model worn by Retno Marsudi were exactly the same as those worn by Sri Mulyani.

However, the Minister of Foreign Affairs did not wear a headscarf. She chose to use a Geulis umbrella, a typical Tasikmalaya accessory, while walking on the catwalk.

4. Angela Tanoesoedibjo

The Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Angela Tanoesoedibjo, also showed a beautiful and elegant appearance.

Angela looked the most stylish by adding a red fabric accessory wrapped around her waist. This appearance made her body look slimmer.

5. Ida Fauziah

Although she looked shy while walking on the catwalk, Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziah still smiled and waved at the audience.

She wore the same kebaya as the other ministers, and also added a pink headscarf with nude makeup, making her appearance look fresh.
