Congratulations! Mikha Tambayong Earns a Master's Degree in Law from Harvard

Dream - Mikha Tambayong feels happy that she has finally graduated from one of the best universities in the world, Harvard University. She earned a master's degree in law.

In her Instagram account, Mikha celebrated her graduation in a simple way. Wearing a baby pink shirt paired with a black blazer, she held balloons and a bouquet of flowers.

"Maudy Mikha Maria Tambayong, S.H., MM, with the International Graduate Program and an additional short course in contract law, both from Harvard University. And this is for my mom, we made it," Mikha wrote on Instagram.

Not Easy

For Mikha, achieving a master's degree in law at Harvard is not an easy task, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

She had to attend online classes with a significant time difference between Indonesia and the United States.

"I had to endure online classes and overcome the different time zones to reach this point," she said.

Nevertheless, Mikha is grateful because she was able to complete her studies successfully. She couldn't attend classes in person, but she was able to meet inspirational people.

"Meeting amazing classmates, attending life-changing lectures by professors from around the world, and experiencing my short journey at Harvard even though I couldn't physically be there right now," she said.

For Mikha, what she has achieved so far is dedicated to her mother. Her mother had always wanted Mikha to graduate from Harvard.

"I have obtained my Master's degree here, at home, with the people I love. In these sad times, I am very grateful and will not waste it. I hope you also find a glimmer of light in the midst of darkness," she wrote. (mut)
