Galaxy Watch 6 Series Released, What's New?

Dream - Samsung has once again launched its latest smartwatch series, the Galaxy Watch Series, in Seoul, South Korea, on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. The two models introduced are the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic.

In this latest smartwatch series, Samsung offers improvements in sleep and health monitoring features. Starting from sleep coaching, fitness coaching, to nutrition-related information that helps users achieve optimal health.

"Through Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic, we are committed to making advanced health monitoring tools accessible, offering easier access directly from the user's wrist," said TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience, Samsung Electronics.

Equipped with Sleep Score Factors feature, users can understand the quality of their sleep through total sleep time, sleep cycles, wake-up time. Information related to the quality of their sleep patterns can be displayed with animal avatar symbols.

The Personalized Heart Rate Zone feature embedded in this smartwatch series is able to analyze users' physical abilities, determine five levels of running intensity to optimize fat burning and high-intensity exercise.

Meanwhile, Track Run is present to record users' pace on the running track, coupled with Custom Workout that allows users to create and track their personalized exercise routines.

The Body Composition feature can also provide information about major physical measurements such as skeletal muscle, basal metabolic rate, body water, and body fat percentage.

Interestingly, this smartwatch is equipped with Fall Detection feature that can detect when users fall and automatically contact emergency phones or designated contacts.

As for the design, the Galaxy Watch6 Series comes with a 20% larger screen and a thinner bezel than its predecessor, supported by the Always On Display feature that can adjust the screen brightness.

With just eight minutes of charging, users can use this smartwatch for eight hours both day and night. Users can also easily access WhatsApp from their wrist.

Galaxy Watch6 comes in a 44mm size option priced at Rp4,499,000 with Graphite and Silver colors. Then the 40mm size with Graphite and Gold colors priced at Rp3,999,000.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch6 Classic, which has a rotating bezel, comes in a 43mm size option priced at Rp5,499,000, and the 47mm size priced at Rp5,999,000 with Black and Silver colors.
