Hooray! WhatsApp Creates Message Sending Feature Without Internet, Here's the Tutorial

Dream - WhatsApp starts off 2023 by bringing good news for those who always run out of internet quota. The chat application launches the ability to send messages without the need to use internet data. 

Through its official blog, WhatsApp, which sends New Year's greetings, said it was aware that there are still many people who cannot enjoy its services due to limited internet access.

“There are many people who still do not have the ability to reach the people they love because of internet network shutdowns,” wrote WhatsApp in its announcement on its official blog.

This feature of sending messages without internet will use a proxy server that will provide access to WhatsApp to its users when their internet connection is blocked or disrupted.

“To address this issue, today we are launching proxy support for WhatsApp users worldwide,” wrote WhatsApp.

By choosing a proxy, users can connect to WhatsApp through servers provided by volunteers and organizations worldwide dedicated to helping people communicate freely. 

Nevertheless, WhatsApp still guarantees the privacy and security of WhatsApp users' messages, which are protected by end-to-end encryption.

“Our hope in 2023 is that there will be no more internet network shutdowns. Disruptions like those we saw in Iran for months have violated human rights and caused obstacles in delivering assistance,” WhatsApp continued.

WhatsApp informed that this new feature is now available in the settings menu for everyone running the latest version of the WhatsApp application. 

How to Send WhatsApp Messages Without Android Phone Quota

So how do you access the proxy feature? Still quoting from the same source, here's how to access the proxy for Android and iPhone mobile phones.

If you have internet access, you can search for trusted sources that have created proxies through social media or search engines.

Connecting to a proxy on Android

1. Make sure you are using the latest version of WhatsApp.

2. In the Chat tab, tap More Options (3-dot feature)  > Settings.

3. Tap Storage and data > Proxy.

4. Tap Use proxy.

5. Tap Set proxy and enter the proxy address.

6. Tap Save.

7. A checkmark (green) will appear if the connection is successful.

8. If you still can't send or receive WhatsApp messages using the proxy, the proxy may have been blocked. You can long-press the blocked proxy address to delete it, and then enter a new proxy address to try again.

How to Send WhatsApp Messages Without Quota on iPhone

Connecting to a proxy on iPhone

1. Make sure you are using the latest version of WhatsApp.

2. Open WhatsApp Settings.

3. Tap Storage and data > Proxy.

4. Tap Use proxy.

5. Enter the proxy address and tap Save to connect.

6. A checkmark (green) will appear if the connection is successful.

7. If you still can't send or receive WhatsApp messages using the proxy, the proxy may have been blocked. Try again using a different proxy address.

Note: When using third-party proxies, your IP address will be shared with the proxy provider. Third-party proxies are not provided by WhatsApp.
