Sehun and Chanyeol Have Indonesian Names, Want to be Local Guys?

Dream - Two members of the boyband EXO, Sehun and Chanyeol, held a fan meeting concert at Beach City International Stadium, North Jakarta on Saturday, February 4, 2023.

When met at the press conference session, these two EXO-SC members were asked to choose their Indonesian names like other boyband members have done, including Super Junior.

Sehun was asked to choose first, names like Susanto, Sakti, Sofyan, and Sultan became candidates for Sehun's Indonesian name.

"I choose Sultan," said Sehun at the Press Conference EXO-SC Back To Back event in Jakarta, Saturday, February 4, 2023.

Chanyeol's Turn

Next up, Chanyeol was asked to choose his Indonesian name. The choices given were Cahya, Cakra, and Cahyono. Although fans shouted to suggest Chanyeol choose the name Cahyono, it was Cakra that was chosen by the man born in 1992.

"I choose Cakra, because I like its meaning, which is arrow," said Chanyeol, nodding confidently with his choice.
