Dream- A number of Indonesian modest fashion brands will participate in the London Fashion Week 2023 event, which will be held on September 18, 2023. One of them is KAMI. This brand, which has been established for 14 years, will take part in the fashion exhibition to expand its business internationally.

Afina Candarini, as the Founder of the brand KAMI, revealed that previously KAMI had also appeared in New York Fashion Week 2023 and afterwards KAMI will appear in London Fashion Week 2023.

"In 2023, WE will be celebrating our 14th anniversary. Our journey to New York Fashion Week was a gift for our anniversary. And unexpectedly, in the same year, WE were given the opportunity to attend London Fashion Week."

Brand KAMI has partnered with Indonesian Family Health Clinic Bamed to collaborate in the London Fashion Week 2023/2024 event.

This collaboration is expressed through a collection titled Orva, which is inspired by the Rain Lily flower. The highlighted motif in this Orva collection is also taken from the national textile, namely the Garut woven textile with a diamond motif.

According to Istafiana Candarini, the founder and owner of the brand KAMI Rain Lily, it means hope and new steps. "So for #TripKAMI together with Bamed, it will be poured into a collection titled Orva, so Orva is inspired by the Rain Lily flower which symbolizes hope and new steps," said Irin. Istafiana revealed a little preparation to attend the grand event of London Fashion Week 2023.

They will bring 10 Looks with the theme of Orva, featuring 3 bright colors, namely blue jewel, peach, and light brown. Unlike our previous collection, this collection will predominantly feature monochrome colors. This collection will be released for next year's Hari Raya at our brand, KAMI. "So, the collection will be more monochrome than our usual collection, and God willing, this will be the collection for our Hari Raya," said Irin.

Two out of three founders of Brand KAMI also revealed trends in 2024. According to them, the color that will be the 'Color of The Year' is bright colors with lightweight and transparent fabric.

"In London, we will present the Spring Summer collection, in terms of fabric trends, it will be lightweight and transparent materials. We are also playing with bright colors that will continue for the color collection next year," said Irin. Report by Dinda Putri Radika.
