Appearance of Thousands of Years Old Fig Tree Called Once Became the Support of the Prophet

An Indonesian citizen in Saudi Arabia, Kang Alman, shared a story that the tree was once used as a support by Prophet Muhammad after being stoned. 

On the Alman Mulyana YouTube channel, Kang Alman shared a portrait of the thousand-year-old tree.

He mentioned that the sturdy and very old Fig tree grows in the city of Thaif, Saudi Arabia. Despite its age, this Fig tree is very lush and fertile.

“In front of me, there is a lush Fig tree,” said Alman.

According to the story, the Prophet once hid under the Fig tree when he was stoned and expelled by the people of Thaif.

“Some people say that the Prophet Muhammad SAW hid behind this Fig tree,” Alman revealed.

At that time, Prophet Muhammad SAW hid in a vineyard. It is also mentioned that one of the Prophet's teeth was broken and his forehead was injured.

“After being stoned, the Prophet sought refuge and hid in this vineyard, I think his tooth was broken and his forehead was bleeding,” he said.

In the video, this tree appears to be so green and lush. It can provide shade to people around it from the scorching sunlight.

“Even though the sun is scorching, it's nice to take shelter here,” he said.

He said that maybe in the past, this tree grew even more lush than it is now.

“Maybe it was more lush in the past,” he concluded.
