The bodies of these Kalimantan monitor lizards are truly extraordinary because their size is similar to the komodo lizards that live in East Nusa Tenggara.

As is known, the komodo is the largest species of monitor lizard. This reptile, with an average length of 2-3 meters, is also the largest lizard in the world.

In the video, the giant monitor lizard is being carried by its owner. At first glance, the owner looks like they are carrying a small child.

According to the owner, the monitor lizard they are carrying has been raised since it was small, and during the event, the giant reptile was only 9 years old.

After that, Panji Petualang tried to carry the second giant monitor lizard exhibited at the expo.

At first glance, the monitor lizard carried by Panji Petualang resembles a komodo. However, Panji Petualang stated that it is not a komodo, but a water monitor lizard.

According to Wikipedia, the water monitor lizard or Asian water monitor (Varanus salvator) is a type of monitor lizard that is widely distributed in South Asia and Southeast Asia.

This water monitor lizard is the most commonly encountered species in various regions of Indonesia and is often found near human settlements.

The water monitor lizard is the second heaviest lizard in the world, after the komodo. It has a muscular body, a long and strong tail. Its body length can grow up to 2 to 3 meters.
