Prayer to Pay Off Fasting Debts in Ramadan and Its Conditions, Muslims Must Know!

Dream – Fasting debts in Ramadan must be paid by every Muslim who missed them. This obligation is stated in the Quran, Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 184. نَوَيْتُ صَوْمَ غَدٍ عَنْ قَضَاءِ فَرْضِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى

Meaning: "I intend to make up the fast of the month of Ramadan tomorrow for the sake of Allah SWT."

Conditions for Paying Off Ramadan Fasting Debts

Ramadan fasting is observed for a whole month without a break. But how should one pay off Ramadan fasting debts? Should it be done in order, like fasting in the month of Ramadan?

In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 184, it is explained that Allah SWT only emphasizes qadha (make-up) fasting for Ramadan, which is obligatory to be done for the number of days missed. This means there is no requirement that you have to make up the fasts consecutively.

This statement from Allah is supported by a hadith narrated by Daruquthni from Ibn Umar:
