Still Wearing Wedding Dress, Man in Sidoarjo Leaves Wedding for PPS Test

Dream - A man in Sidoarjo Regency, East Java, was willing to leave his wedding reception to attend an interview test by the General and Logistics Division of the District Election Committee (PPK) in Jabon District, Sidoarjo, on Sunday, January 15, 2023.

Deni, the General and Logistics Division of the PPK Jabon, Sidoarjo, said that the man named Abdulloh Mubarok is a resident of Kedungpandan, Jabon, Sidoarjo.

"Today, there were actually two people who held wedding receptions and both came to attend the interview test," said Deni, as quoted from merdeka.com.

He continued, the first person was able to attend the morning interview test and was not wearing a wedding dress at the time of the test.

However, for the second person, the reception was scheduled for the afternoon and he attended the interview test in the evening.

"Mubarok came after the wedding meeting and went to the Jabon District Office to attend the interview test conducted simultaneously today," he said.

Mubarok came along with his brother on a motorcycle to participate in the interview test while still wearing a wedding dress.

"Today, there were 89 people scheduled to participate in the interview test, and four people did not show up. So, there were 85 people who took the test," he said.

The total requirement for PPS members in Jabon District is three times 13 villages, which is a total of 39 people.

"So, Mubarok was willing to temporarily leave his wedding reception to participate in this interview test," he said.

The man who was willing to leave his wedding reception for the interview test went viral on social media.

In the video, someone asked Mubarok about his presence at the interview test while wearing a wedding dress.

"Why are you wearing a dress like this (wedding dress), where did it come from? You left your wedding reception for the interview test," someone said in the video.

The circulating video also showed Abdulloh Mubarok's wedding invitation to Riani Nur Hidayati.

The invitation stated that the wedding ceremony had been held on January 9, 2023, and the reception was held today in Kedungpandan Village, Jabon, Sidoarjo.
