Ustaz Khalid Basalamah Says Oklin Fia Insults Religion, But Cannot Be Punished Islamically

He explained that if the content created is about education regarding biology, it wouldn't be a problem.

“If, for example, someone creates content with a biological theme, for example, and it is educational in the sense that it is scientific, there would be no problem,” he said.

Ustaz Basalamah believes that everyone can clearly see the elements of violation in the viral content. Moreover, the woman in the video is wearing a hijab.

“But if it's a clip like this, it's clear that everyone can see the mistake. The direction is actually more towards “pornography,” and she appears with her hijab,” he explained.

However, a woman should reflect a more obedient attitude and not violate religious rules while wearing a hijab. What is shown in the content is considered a violation.

“In Islam, wearing a hijab means goodness, it means she is more obedient. Automatically, because she maintains her appearance, it means she should be more obedient, not commit violations. In Islam, that is considered a violation,” he explained.

In addition, he explained that such violations can be referred to the applicable laws in the local government.

“If it's like this, it's more about referring to the local government's law. In Islam, if it reaches the point of executing acts like adultery, then there is a special law,” he said.

“But if she only creates clips, teaches people, then there are certain laws, but it doesn't reach the level of violation if she hasn't done it yet,” he added.
