Viral Video of Mother Beating Her Child in Public Because of Missing the Train

Dream - Video of a mother who cruelly beats her child in public because of missing the train has gone viral on social media. Despite being warned by station personnel, the mother continues to hit her child until he cries.

In the video uploaded by the TikTok account @maharanibooks, it can be seen a mother venting her frustration on her child due to missing the train at Purwokerto Railway Station, Banyumas, Central Java.

"This mother missed the train, so her child becomes her outlet," as stated in the video.

The video clip shows a mother wearing a black shirt sitting in front of her crying son.

From his expression, the little boy looks scared. Not only scolded, the child was also beaten on the stomach and pulled by the mother's hand.

"Beaten, poked in the stomach, pulled by the hand. Then she gets angry and says no one told her. Even though she didn't ask," she said.

Meanwhile, the child did not misbehave and just remained silent. The woman was warned by officials but still scolded her child.

"Even though the child did not misbehave, I swear to God the child just stayed silent. The officials have approached her and warned her not to use violence, but she ignored it," she wrote.

"Finally, a mother came and couldn't stand it anymore. She carried her child and gave him a drink," she continued.

Receiving hugs and caresses from other passengers, the child instead started crying hysterically.

The account owner said that a passenger even offered to replace the lost train ticket in the hope that the woman would stop being abusive towards her child.

"And it turns out that the man who leaned on her has replaced the missed train ticket, for the sake of his child so that he won't be abused anymore," as stated in the video.

The video recorder claimed to have reported the incident to the station master. They hope that the woman can be monitored and immediately reported to the police if she continues to be abusive towards her child.
