There are many ways to determine if a woman is in her fertile period, such as calculating the dates, measuring body temperature, or using readily available test kits for convenience.
Many people believe that having intercourse during this fertile period should be done in the morning so that pregnancy can occur. This is because in the morning, the husband and wife are still in a fresh and fit condition.
The hope is that when the prospective father and mother are in good health during intimate relations, the chances of getting pregnant are higher. Is this true? Doctor Benediktus A, MPH, Sp.OG (K) provides an explanation.
It turns out that during the fertile period, husband and wife are advised to have intimate relations at any time. There is no most ideal and best time, as long as both can do it calmly and stress-free. "Is it better in the morning, afternoon, or evening? Morning, afternoon, and evening are all fine, so there is no connection between morning, afternoon, and evening and the possibility of getting pregnant," said Dr. Benny on his Instagram.
According to him, finding time for intimate relations should be adjusted to the activities of the husband and wife. Find the most relaxing time and both are truly free from busyness.
"At the time of fertility, if for example busy in the morning, then at night. If busy at night, then in the morning. Can it be in the afternoon? Absolutely," said Dr. Benny.
It also reminds that there are only two fertile days in one menstrual cycle. If you want to get pregnant normally, make sure to do accurate calculations and utilize them optimally. "A woman can only be impregnated spontaneously, only for one or two days in one menstrual cycle within a month. Find the right day, it will increase the chances of getting pregnant," said Dr. Benny.
