"At the age nearing retirement, during the 2020 Olympics, she decided to postpone her pregnancy. This is because that moment was her last opportunity to participate in the Olympics due to age restrictions as a badminton athlete."

Apparently, after marrying Felix Djimin in 2020, she underwent in vitro fertilization (IVF) program. Through IVF fertilization, embryos were formed and Polii decided to freeze them or egg freezing, at one of the hospitals in Jakarta.

"He also underwent a series of rigorous training to participate in his last Olympics in Tokyo, Japan 2020, as a women's doubles badminton athlete along with Apriani."

Pregnancy Polii is part of the IVF program she underwent. The previously frozen embryo was implanted back into her uterus, and the pregnancy progressed well. The daughter was born on April 30, 2022, and named Jessia Selah Djimin.

Jessia is now 5 months old and often taken by Polii to the badminton court. This baby is very adorable, chubby cheeks, tiny lips, and always shows a cheerful face.
