Dream - Aurelie Moeremans' face couldn't smile for six months. This is because of the side effects of the medication given by the doctor due to the colli tumor that settled in her neck.

"It turns out it's just a lump," said Aurelie Moeremans in Jakarta recently.

Aurelie was forced to take a six-month break from work to fully recover.

"So I couldn't work because I didn't suit the injection," she said.

She is grateful that her condition has improved, but she still needs to be under the doctor's supervision as the disease may reappear.

"Well, now it's getting better, but the doctor said I still have to be careful, in case the biopsy hasn't detected anything," she said.

Dream - Surprising news comes from actress Aurelie Moeremans who turns out to suffer from Colli Tumor. She admitted to trying to hide her illness for the past three months, revealing that the tumor originated from two lumps in her neck.

"In December last year, after finishing shooting my series, as soon as I got a break, I went straight to the hospital to have an ultrasound test on the two lumps in my neck. Turns out the result was Colli Tumor," said Aurelie quoted from Instagram @aurelie, Saturday, March 18, 2023.

The star of the series "Mantan Tapi Menikah" initially did not want to disclose her health condition to fans and the public. However, she had to change her decision because more and more people started to notice changes in her face.

Various ways were done to cover up her illness, one of which was by requesting photo editing services every time she made a post on social media.

"Even though I tried to cover it up, edit my endorse pics and others, but your eyes are sharp! So here's my 2023 going so far," said Aurelie quoted from Instagram @aurelie, Saturday, March 18, 2023.

Although it has the word "tumor" in its name, the Belgian-born artist explains that the disease is not as severe as imagined. Colli Tumor occurs due to an infection.

The doctor who examined her said that the disease might have appeared because she has Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ).

"There was a doctor who suspected that it appeared because I have TMJ (just google it) and when I sleep, my teeth grind when I'm stressed. Then the doctor said the medication is to inject Botulinum toxin," she said.

Although initially refusing to receive the injection, Aurelie finally gave in because she was tired of the constant pain. The swelling sensation that often occurred in her jaw had been felt for more than three years.

After two weeks of injections, precisely in early January 2023, the lower part of Aurelie's face became paralyzed and she couldn't smile. However, after three months, her condition has improved significantly. Despite that, she revealed that she still couldn't resume shooting as usual.

"When I laugh, I look like a zombie who wants to bite someone, according to my mom. It's that bad, and it's impossible for me to explain all this every time I meet someone. Many exciting projects have been canceled, but I'm just thinking positively: maybe this is God's way of telling me to take a break first? Don't work all the time," Aurelie concluded her story.

Dream - Aurelie Moeremans openly admitted to being a klepto when she was a child. According to her, the illness emerged due to the influence of those closest to her.

"I literally was a klepto since I was little. When I got older, I realized that someone unintentionally taught me to be a klepto, and it turns out it was my own mother," Aurelie revealed on the YouTube channel TonightShowNet.

Aurelie explained that the klepto behavior emerged when she accidentally saw her mother stealing coins from a statue.

"So, there was this statue of Mother Mary and people usually put money, coins, in it. My mom didn't know, she's not a Christian. Then I saw her taking it, because she thought, 'Oh, someone must have left it behind'. So I just took it. That was the first time," Aurelie explained.

In addition, Aurelie saw her mother stealing a magazine at her request. She asked her mother to take a magazine from her tutoring place.

"The second time, I was taking dance lessons. When I had my dance lessons, it turned out the place was closed, no one was there. My mom forgot (that there was no tutoring schedule that day). Then I saw it, 'Mom, there's a magazine and a CD, can I have them?'. 'Oh, don't take that, maybe it's your teacher's'. Then I was like, 'Please', and my mom couldn't resist and took them. So I thought, 'Okay, I can do that'," she said.

Meanwhile, Aurelie also admitted to stealing her friends' belongings at school, ranging from school supplies to her teacher's jewelry.

"All sorts of things. Like pens, I once stole a friend's game boy. The worst thing I did was when I was in 7th grade, I didn't like one of my teachers. Long story short, she put all her jewelry on the table, and I took one of her rings," she added.

The ring that Aurelie Moeremans stole was immediately given to her mother. "The second time, I wanted to give it to my mom. Like, my mom would definitely like this white gold," she said.
