Congratulations! Song Joong Ki Announces the Birth of His First Child with Katy Louise

Dream - Good news comes from South Korean actor, Song Joong Ki. The star of the Korean drama Vincenzo and his partner, Katy Louise Saunders, have been blessed with their first child.

Born in Katy's hometown, Rome, Italy, Song Joong Ki's first child is a baby boy. Song Joong Ki announced the birth of their child through his fancafe.

The 37-year-old actor also attached a black-toned photo showing a tiny finger holding an adult's pinky finger.

"Today, I am here to greet you all because I have another dream-like news that I want to share with you first," wrote Song Joong Ki, quoted from Koreaboo, Thursday, June 15, 2026.

Song Joong Ki said that his son is in good health. His wife is also in good health after giving birth. 

"I am in Italy now. I finally met my baby here in Rome, my wife's hometown. He is a healthy child. Both the baby and the mother are very healthy, so I am taking care of my family happily with gratitude," he continued.

The Reborn Rich star said that the presence of their child is the most beautiful gift for him. He also embraces his new status as a father.

"I think it is the most precious gift given to our couple, whose biggest dream is to create a happy family for the rest of our lives," he added.

Song Joong Ki also thanked his fans and promised to return with extraordinary work as an actor. 

"I think this extraordinary day has come thanks to the support of many people, thank you. I will return with extraordinary work, living with who I am and my status as an actor," he added.
