"Dream - Irfan Hakim commented on the viral news about Saaih Halilintar releasing a lovebird into the wild. According to the 48-year-old man, Atta Halilintar's younger sibling's intention was actually good, but the decision to release the lovebird was not suitable for its habitat and was not appropriate."
Husband of Della Sabrina Indah Putri also provides understanding for Saaih Halilintar. He said that this African bird should not be released into the wild carelessly.
"The intention is good, to let the birds fly freely as they should, but the type of bird being released is a lovebird, so actually this information is not only for Saaih but for everyone as well. When an animal is released, it should be in its natural habitat. For example, a bird of paradise should be in Papua, a Bali starling should be in Bali, and if released in Java, it is not allowed."

"Nah, this lovebird originally comes from Africa, more precisely Madagascar. (It must not be released into the wild) because it can damage the existing habitat, so it can attack the birds here or deplete the local birds' food,"
Listening to Irfan Hakim's explanation, Aurel Hermansyah's sister-in-law revealed the reason for releasing the lovebird. She admitted that initially she didn't understand that lovebirds should not be released into the wild.
"But, after asking the seller if it's okay, he bought it and then just released it. 'I actually didn't know, but I asked the seller if it can be released, he said it's safe to release,' said Saaih Halilintar."
"It's safe for him (the seller) as long as he buys," added Irfan Hakim. "Because they say there is a lot of food here, so if he lets go, he will come back," added Saaih Halilintar."
Then, Irfan Hakim explained again that lovebirds cannot be released into the wild carelessly. The reason is that it endangers the bird itself and the surrounding animal environment.
"In essence, it's not because birds should be caged, but there are indeed some birds that need to be caged. I have a bird that cannot fly since birth, but it still has the right to be able to fly. Basically, from the comments, no one understands that lovebirds cannot be released in Indonesia."
