Dream - Actress Michelle Joan is grieving after her mother, Devi Damayanti, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at around 00:15 WIB at Fatmawati Hospital, South Jakarta. The cause of Michelle Joan's mother's death was breast cancer that she had been suffering from.

Joan revealed that her mother had undergone breast removal surgery. After three examinations by a medical team, it was concluded that the cancer growing in Devi's body did not fall into the category of malignant tumors, although a lump was found on the side of her breast.

However, during the last examination, it was discovered that the cancer had already pressed against Devi's spinal bone.
