Titiek Puspa Reveals the Lifestyle Pattern to Stay Fit at the Age of 85

Dream - Titiek Puspa is already 85 years old. However, the body of this senior artist still looks fit. She is even still active in the entertainment world despite her old age.

One of the secrets of Titiek Puspa's fresh body in her old age is consuming healthy food. The singer of the song Kupu-Kupu Malam (Night Butterfly) even rarely eats food from outside the house.

"Since I was 35 years old, I have been managing my life by regulating my food. I don't eat unhealthy food with excessive seasoning," said Titiek Puspa at the Menuju Nol Luka Dekubitus Lansia dengan Lifree Excretion Care event in Central Jakarta, Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

Titiek said that almost 90 percent of her meals are cooked at home. She prefers to consume fish and vegetables using a small amount of cooking oil.

"So, I eat 70 percent freshwater fish, 30 percent meat, chicken," she said.

In addition, the artist who is often called eyang (grandmother) also reduces carbohydrate consumption, especially rice. She even only eats one or two spoonfuls of rice.

"I only eat two spoonfuls of rice, one freshwater fish, one plate of vegetables," said Titiek.

Not only managing her diet, Titiek also maintains the quality of her sleep at night. She even wears adult diapers at night so that her sleep is not disturbed by the need to go to the bathroom.

"If I sleep using (adhesive adult) diapers, I don't have to bother going back and forth to the bathroom. I sleep peacefully and dream in paradise," said Titiek Puspa.

She admitted that her life has become healthier and more practical because of the presence of adult diapers, which greatly help elderly people.

"I never use public toilets because I bring my own toilet. Using Lifree refills can hold a lot without the need to go back and forth. Going to public toilets just to change. Sitting in public toilets, Innalillahi, is very dangerous," she said.
