Dream - Grand Max car that was burned in a fatal accident at KM 58 Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road has been identified under the name Yanti Setyawan Budidarma. The Grand Max is one of the cars that caught fire in a multiple collision with a bus and Daihatsu Terios. Karawang Police Chief AKBP Wirdhanto Hadicaksono said that the fatal accident at KM 58 Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road involved three vehicles. The bus involved in the accident belongs to Primajasa with license plate number B-7655-TGD, the Grand Max car is known to have license plate number B-1635-BKT, while the license plate number of the Daihatsu Terios is still unknown.
"In the vehicle registration (Grand Max car), the identity is under the name Yanti Setyawan Budidarma with the address at Jalan Duren Number 16 RT003/009, Kelurahan Utan Kayu Utara, Kecamatan Matraman, East Jakarta," said Kapolres Wirdhanto as quoted from Merdeka.com, Monday, April 8, 2024."
He conveyed that the family or relatives who know the victim can come directly to the information post at RSUD Karawang. The initial suspicion is that the driver and all passengers inside the Daihatsu Grand Max car did not survive. Until now, the police have not yet confirmed the number of casualties from the multiple accidents. However, for now, the number of fatalities is mentioned to be 12 people.
The Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK), Muhadjir Effendy, directly inspected the process of identifying the victims of the accident on Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road KM 58 at Karawang Regional General Hospital (RSUD) on Monday afternoon.

According to the information received, the number of victims who died as a result of the accident is 12 people, who were passengers in two burning cars. The victims who died in the unfortunate accident consisted of seven males and five females. All of the victims are believed to have died at the scene of the incident, as they were inside the cars that immediately caught fire during the accident.
"Previously, Karawang Police Chief AKP Wirdhanto stated that the preliminary suspicion of the accident occurred because the grandmax car was in the contraflow lane towards Cikampek and experienced a problem. The car attempted to pull over on the right shoulder of the B lane that leads to Jakarta."

He explained that the victims were passengers of the Grand Max car. Two other victims are in critical condition and are currently being treated in the hospital.
