"Dream - A middle-aged man in India desperately commits a deliberate crime to deal with the authorities. This illegal act is intentionally done to prove that he is still alive."
According to Oddity Central, the 40-year-old man is named Baburam Bhil. He has long been trying to convince the authorities that he is still alive after a death certificate was issued in his name. Baburam even pleaded with the village elders and state authorities to rectify the mistake. However, his efforts to convince the relevant parties have not been successful.
The translation of "Nekat Berbuat Aksi Kriminal" to English is "Dare to Commit Criminal Acts."
"Worried that all his assets would be seized by the government due to the issuance of the death certificate, the man who lived in the village of Mithora in Rajasthan decided to take extreme action. On July 19, Baburam took a knife and a bottle of gasoline to carry out a terror act against a local school."
"After entering Chuli Bera Dharana School, Baburam injured two school staff consisting of the Acting Principal Hardayal and teacher Suresh Kumar, as well as a parent. Baburam also took several students and teachers hostage, prompting law enforcement to quickly apprehend him."
The translation of "Ingin Buktikan Masih Hidup" to English is "Want to Prove Still Alive".
During the interrogation, the man explained that he had been mistakenly declared dead. After repeatedly trying to get his death certificate revoked, he became desperate to prove that he was still alive.
He thought that by committing a serious crime, it would lead to his arrest. Subsequently, the police had no choice but to arrest him and write his name in the police records, as evidence that he was actually not dead.
"Baburam Bhil has been arrested for his crimes, but his plan may succeed. This is because the police have announced an investigation into his claims."
The translation of "Pernah Terjadi Sebelumnya" to English is "Has Happened Before."
Interestingly, the case of Baburam Bhil is not an uncommon occurrence in India. Vio News reported that in November of last year, a 70-year-old man was seen walking in Agra while carrying a sign that read 'I am still alive' after his death certificate was mistakenly issued.
