Especially when seeing children who are killed due to the cruelty of the Israeli army. The conscience is certainly touched immediately because it is not bearable to see their condition. Children who should be playing and learning with their friends, but at their young age, they have become martyrs in their own land. So, what is their fate in the afterlife? Considering that they have not reached the age of maturity and do not have sins.

Not only that, those children can also attract both of their parents to enter paradise. As the saying of the Prophet Muhammad: "O Ummu Sulaim, no two Muslim parents who have lost three of their children will be entered into paradise except by the mercy of Allah towards them." Ummu Sulaim then asked, "What about two?" He replied, "Two as well." (Narrated by Bukhari, An Nasa'i, and Ahmad) In another hadith, it is explained about Khalid Al Abasi who told about his deceased child. Then, he asked Abu Hurairah:

"O Abu Hurairah, have you not heard from the Prophet something that soothes our souls regarding the death of our children?" Then, Abu Hurairah said, "I heard Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) saying, 'Your babies will become little butterflies in heaven.'" (Narrated by Muslim) Regarding the above hadith, as quoted from the book Adabul Mufrad, it means that the babies who die before their parents will not be separated from heaven.

The first opinion is based on Asy Syafi'i's statement that the fate of these children depends on the will of Allah SWT. Meanwhile, the second opinion from Ibnu Hazm states that these children follow their parents. Then, another opinion states that these children are in Barzakh, which is between heaven and hell. In another opinion, it is stated that the children of polytheists who have passed away will become servants for the inhabitants of heaven.
