Bagja ensures that Bawaslu conducts an investigation in Gakkumdu (integrated law enforcement consisting of three institutions, the Police, the Prosecutor's Office, Bawaslu). Because there is a potential criminal offense in the alleged buying and selling of ballots in Malaysia. "Because this falls under criminal law, the Gakkumdu Center team is currently conducting an investigation and documentation process," Bagja explained.
Based on the circulating video, Bagja confirms that the investigation has found something 'interesting'. However, he still keeps his findings a secret.

Bagja asserts that the alleged perpetrators of vote-buying are still being processed. Nevertheless, Bagja affirms that the authority regarding the ballot papers fully lies with the Election organizers. "It is true that the organizers are fully responsible," he said.
"Previously, the Migrant CARE organization reported allegations of buying and selling ballots during the 2024 Election in Malaysia to the General Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of the Republic of Indonesia. Migrant CARE staff, Muhammad Santosa, explained that the modus operandi of buying and selling ballots was carried out by taking advantage of the ballots sent to the mailbox in the stairwell of an apartment without directly giving them to the voters. He conveyed this in Jakarta on Tuesday, February 20, 2024."
Santosa conveyed, the ballot traders then took advantage of the voters' ignorance. Those ballot traders intentionally targeted mailboxes in several apartments.
