The man named Sukaidi admitted that he smelled the fragrant scent of the corpse buried next to the new grave he dug. Even though the corpse had been deceased for 15 years and buried in his village cemetery located near the market.
So the story goes, Sukaidi was assigned to build a new grave at a cemetery near Pasar Rebo, Sei Mencirim Village, Sunggal District.
Shroud of the Deceased Next to the New Grave
According to Sukaidi, the person who died and was buried in the cemetery was his neighbor. However, when digging the grave, Sukaidi, assisted by his friend, was surprised to find the burial shroud coming out of the ground.
The burial shroud belongs to the deceased person who was buried next to the newly dug grave by Sukaidi. Sukaidi, who was wearing a sleeveless shirt and a green cap, was shocked after inspecting the burial shroud.
"The Body is Still Intact and Smells Fragrant"
According to Sukaidi, the body of the shroud's owner is still intact. In addition, the body also smells good. From the shroud, the fragrant scent of jasmine and pandan can be detected.

"However, if seen from the inscription on the tombstone, the intact and fragrant body was buried 15 years ago. According to Sukaidi, the shroud he found is the cloth that wraps around the head of the intact body."
"Amazed and Confused"
"We were shocked and amazed because the shroud smelled fragrant like the scent of jasmine flowers and pandan leaves. "In fact, if we look at the tombstone, the body was buried in 2008," said Sukaidi."
Because of the shocking discovery, the gravedigger reburied the intact and fragrant corpse. Meanwhile, Sukaidi's neighbor's body was buried in a different location but still within the same cemetery complex.
