Dream - Residents of Setiabudi were shocked by an explosion around Taman Tangkuban Perahu, Guntur, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. As a result of the explosion, one person was reported dead.
The explosion is suspected to have originated from a buried bomb.
"The temporary suspicion of a buried bomb," said the Head of the South Jakarta Fire and Rescue Agency (Gulkarmat), Syamsul Huda, quoted from Merdeka.com.
As a result of the explosion, 1 person died. Their identity is still unknown.

"Awalnya gali tanah" translates to "Initially dig the soil" in English.
Syamsul said, the explosion happened when the excavation workers were digging the ground around the area. However, suddenly an explosion occurred.
"A worker is digging the ground for a foundation, then hits an object buried in the ground causing an explosion. The explosion can be heard all the way to the village office."
