"Reading Dhikr in the First 10 Days of Dhu al-Hijjah"

According to Habib Ahmad bin Novel Salim Jindan, who is the caretaker of Al-Hawthah Al-Jindaniyah Islamic boarding school, he said that the practice of dhikr (remembrance of Allah) during the first 10 days of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah is tahlil (reciting the phrase "la ilaha illallah") and takbir (saying "Allahu Akbar").

The reading of tahlil is "Laa ilaha illallah" (there is no god but Allah). Meanwhile, the reading of takbir is "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is the Greatest). In addition, Muslims are also encouraged to recite general remembrance and takbir on the days of Eid al-Adha and the days of Tashreeq. This remembrance practice should not be underestimated. As the Prophet Muhammad said: "There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah. حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ وَكَفَى سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ دَعَا لَيْسَ وَرَاءَهُ مُنْتَهَى مِنْ تَوَكُّلِ عَلَى اللَّهِ كُفِيَ وَمَنِ اعْتَصَمَ بِاللَّهِ نَجَا. "Hasbiyallahu wakafaa sami'allaahu liman da'a laisa wara ahu muntahaa man tawakkala 'alalllahi kufiya wamani'tashama billaahi najaa." Translation: Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best to rely on. Allah hears the one who calls Him, there is no limit to His hearing. Whoever puts their trust in Allah, it is enough for them, and whoever seeks refuge in Allah, they will be saved.
