Dream - Pyramid-shaped stone structure in the area of Pulau Samosir, Lake Toba, North Sumatra, is said to be similar to the Gunung Padang site in Cianjur, West Java. This unique site has successfully caught the attention of researchers, especially archaeologists.
According to the Flores Journal, research conducted by a team of archaeologists from the University of Indonesia estimates that the age of the Toba Pyramid reaches 3,000 years before the Common Era. In other words, the Toba Pyramid is older than the Gunung Padang Site, which is estimated to be around 2,500 years before the Common Era.
Although so, Toba Pyramid has a structure similar to Mount Padang Site, which consists of four levels made of andesite stones.
The structure also has several unexplored underground spaces. Due to their similarities, some experts believe that the Toba Pyramid is closely related to the Gunung Padang Site.
Although it has been a topic of discussion among historians and researchers, the Toba Pyramid has not been fully explored. For example, there are still several underground chambers that have not been opened, and it is not yet known for certain what the function of these structures is.
