This prayer, called the Friday Morning Prayer, is believed to be able to erase sins. This prayer is believed to be able to dissolve the sins that have accumulated over the years."
Friday morning prayers can erase sins; this is one of the important acts of worship for Muslims, where they seek forgiveness and mercy from Allah SWT. By practicing this prayer, Muslims are expected to cleanse themselves and draw closer to Him, as well as receive blessings and forgiveness from Him. By practicing the Friday morning prayer that can erase sins, Muslims are expected to feel tranquility and inner satisfaction, as well as receive forgiveness from Him.
"Friday holds a very important significance in Islam. Friday is considered a day full of blessings and grace. In Surah Al-Jumu'ah verses 9-10, Allah SWT states that when the call to prayer for Friday prayer is announced, Muslims should leave off trade and busy themselves in seeking Allah's mercy. In addition, Friday is also believed to be a day when the prayers of Muslims are answered."
"Rasulullah SAW once said that there is a time on Friday when the prayers of Muslims will not be rejected, and the companions asked when that time is, then Rasulullah SAW replied that it happens when the imam has ascended the pulpit until the Friday prayer is completed. Muslim men are required to perform the Friday prayer as a form of worship and obedience to Allah SWT. Therefore, by performing the Friday prayer, Muslims are expected to receive blessings and become closer to Allah SWT."
Practices that are sunnah to be performed on Friday according to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW include:
1. Major ablution: The Prophet Muhammad SAW advised his followers to bathe and cleanse themselves before going to the mosque for Friday prayers.
2. Wearing the best clothes: The Prophet Muhammad SAW also recommended that Muslims wear their best clothes when going to the mosque for Friday prayers.
"3. Friday Prayer: Friday Prayer is a practice that is highly emphasized in the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Muslims are required to leave their work and prioritize time to attend Friday prayers at the mosque."
"4. Reading Surah Al-Kahfi: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also encouraged his followers to read Surah Al-Kahfi on Fridays as a form of blessing and protection from the trials of the Dajjal. 5. Dhikr and prayer: In addition, Friday is also a good time for dhikr, prayer, and increasing istighfar."
From the friend Anas bin Malik, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "When we feel that our sins are so great, even as many as the foam on the sea, pray on Friday." Anas bin Malik heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) say: "Whoever recites 'Astagfirullahalladzim alladzi laa ilaaha illa huwal hayyul qoyyuum wa atuubu ilaihi' three times on Friday morning before the Ghadat (Subuh) prayer, then Allah SWT will forgive his sins even if (the sins) are as many as the foam on the sea." (HR. Ibn Sinni)
Here is the translated text with the HTML tags preserved: "Here is the reading of the Friday morning prayer that can absolve sins based on the hadith: أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ Astaghfirullohal ‘azhim alladzi la ilaha illa huwal hayyul qoyyum wa atubu ilaih. Meaning: “I seek forgiveness from Allah the Most Great, there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer, and I repent to Him.”"
"With His grace and guidance, may this prayer help to dissolve our sins in accordance with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, who taught us to always seek forgiveness and mercy from Allah SWT. Especially on Fridays, which hold their own virtues and blessings. May we always receive His blessings and forgiveness. Amin ya rabbal'alamin."
Arabic Reading: O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no deity except You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I am on Your covenant and Your promise as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done, and I acknowledge Your blessings upon me, and I acknowledge my sins, so forgive me, for indeed, none forgives sins except You.
"Allahumma, You are my Lord; there is no deity except You. You created me, and I am Your servant, and I am on Your covenant and promise as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessings upon me, and I acknowledge my sins, so forgive me, for there is no one who forgives sins except You."
“Ya Allah, You are my God, there is no God but You who has created me, and I am Your servant and I am bound by Your promise.” “And I promise You to the best of my ability, I seek refuge in You from all the evil that I have done.” “I acknowledge You for Your blessings upon me and I acknowledge my sins before You, so forgive me, for indeed no one can forgive all sins except You.” (HR. Bukhari).
“Dear God, grant me halal and blessed sustenance, and protect me from all sins and evils. Open the doors of sustenance for me, and give me the strength to always be grateful for all the blessings You have given. Grant me the wisdom to manage the sustenance You have bestowed upon me in the best way, and keep me away from all temptations that could harm the sustenance You have provided. Amen.”
One of the prayers that can erase sins is the prayer taught by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) which says: “O Allah, I ask for Your goodness today, I ask for Your help and protection from the evils that are present today and the evils that will come.”
In addition, here is a dhikr that can erase sins on Friday morning: سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ Subhanallah Wabihamdihi Subhanallahil Adzim. It means: "Glory be to Allah with all praise to Him, Glory be to Allah the Most Great." This dhikr has virtues and is explained in the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), that whoever recites it in the morning until the evening 100 times, their sins will be forgiven even if their sins are like the foam on the sea. May our acts of worship on Friday bring us blessings and forgiveness from Allah SWT.
