Still taking place at Mall Kota Kasablanka, South Jakarta, this saman dance competition is participated by several high schools in the Jabodetabek area. Among them are SMA Islam Al Maruf, SMA Negeri 9 South Tangerang, SMA Negeri 80 Jakarta, SMA Negeri 12 South Tangerang, SMA Negeri 11 South Tangerang, SMA Negeri 21 Jakarta, MAN 5 Jakarta.

The competing team will be directly assessed by the judges. Among them are Syahid Latif as the editor-in-chief of Dream.co.id, and Wasirnieni or commonly known as Yeyen, an artist, dance art teacher, and professional Saman dance coach who has previously joined in training Saman dance for the SEA Games Palembang and PON Riau performances.

"Assessment criteria here will consist of three criteria. One is unity, two is creativity, and three is performance. Unity encompasses movement, vocals, and music. For example, the movement between dancers must be synchronized, there must be a shared feeling, a shared rhythm, a shared power," said Yeyen at Mall Kota Kasablanka, Thursday, March 21, 2024. "The same goes for the sheikh. There must be communication between the dancer and the sheikh. That is an example of unity," she continued."
