Dream - Presidential candidate (capres) number 03, Ganjar Pranowo, mentioned that there are regional heads who are experiencing pressure ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election. The pressure is for the regional heads not to strongly support him in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).
Ganjar conveyed that one of the pressures was felt during the grand campaign at Upperhills Convention Hall, Makassar, South Sulawesi. In that campaign, Mayor of Makassar, Moh Ramdhan Pomanto, was unable to accompany him. However, the man known as Danny Pomanto is listed as a member of the PDI Perjuangan party. Ganjar will check whether the absence of Mayor of Makassar Danny Pomanto at his grand campaign is due to pressure or other reasons. Nevertheless, Ganjar admitted to receiving reports from several regional leaders about experiencing pressure.

"Previously, Danny Pomanto confirmed that he could not attend Ganjar Pranowo's grand campaign. "I can't (attend Ganjar's grand campaign). As a regional leader, we must be good to everyone," he briefly said to journalists after the inauguration of Primaya Hertasning Hospital in Makassar, Monday, January 29, 2024."
The absence of Danny Pomanto in Ganjar Pranowo's grand campaign is justified by the Chairman of the Regional Winning Team (TPD) Ganjar-Mahfud Sulsel, Udhin Malik Syahaputra. Udhin revealed the absence of his father-in-law in Ganjar Pranowo's grand campaign to maintain neutrality as a government official. "Not present. First, his position is to maintain neutrality as a government official," he said.
