Therefore, Pertamina as the operator supports the Pertalite fuel distribution program using the card. Moreover, this Pertalite Fuel Card 5.0 program can be synergized with the Pertamina's Targeted Subsidy Program. "Previously, we had the experience of synergy between the Targeted Subsidy Program for Biosolar and the Biosolar Subsidy Purchase Fuel Card in Batam city," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Department of Industry and Trade of Batam City, Gustian Riau in Batam, stated that this program is a tool to control the purchase of subsidized fuel type Pertalite. Card registration is done online for owners of four-wheeled vehicles, both for registration requirements and bank registration.

"All activities are done online and can be accessed starting from 13.00 this afternoon. The registration process is estimated to take up to 3 days," said Gustian. He mentioned that they involve three banks, namely PT KB Bank, PT Bank Sumut, and PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk, in the implementation of Fuel Card 5.0, specifically for the payment transactions of BBM users on special assignments (BKB) in Batam City."
