"Jokowi said that infrastructure development in IKN continues to be carried out to ensure comfort and that all the needs of its residents can be met. One of the most important aspects is clean water infrastructure. "The Minister of Public Works and Public Housing, who is also the Acting Head of the IKN Authority, Mr. Basuki Hadimuljono, has conducted tests on drinking water from the Drinking Water Treatment Plant (IPA), which is part of the Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) Sepaku," Jokowi said in his post."
He said that the trial conducted by Basuki was carried out to ensure that the drinking water from SPAM is ready to be utilized for KIPP IKN Nusantara in the near future, including for the celebration of the 79th Independence Day on August 17, 2024.
"Jokowi mentioned that water infrastructure in IKN is also being expedited. Out of the target of 60 reservoirs that will serve as sources of clean water, 30 reservoirs have already been completed. "Currently, out of the target of 60 reservoirs, more than 30 reservoirs have been built as water conservation sites," said Jokowi."
