Dream - Do you still remember the feud between Ustaz Ebit Lew and the Indonesian punk woman known as Mondy Tatto? Their dispute has now entered a new phase, which has brought a sense of relief to the supporters of the Malaysian ustaz.
"Prohibited to Make Statements Regarding Ustaz Ebit Lew"
"Because of that, Mondy Tatto and rapper as well as activist from Malaysia, Caprice, are prohibited from making statements that harm Ustaz Ebit Lew."
Apart from the prohibition on making statements, Caprice or his real name Ariz Ramli was asked to delete the viral video podcast. The prohibition order was issued by the Shah Alam District Court in Selangor on 5 October 2023.
"Previously, due to an interview with Mondy Tatto on Caprice's podcast, Ustaz Ebit Lew reported both of them to the police. Ustaz Ebit Lew accused Mondy Tatto and Caprice of defamation and slander against him. In the podcast video, Mondy Tatto narrated and acted out a case of sexual harassment committed by a Malaysian religious scholar. The religious scholar referred to by Mondy Tatto none other than Ustaz Ebit Lew, who was working with him at that time."

On September 22nd, the preacher named Ebit Erawan Ibrahim Lew filed a lawsuit against Caprice and Mondy Tatto at the Shah Alam Court. The 39-year-old man's lawsuit was made through his lawyer represented by Datuk Akberdin Abd Kader.
Ustaz Ebit Lew has previously made a police report regarding several defamatory statements made against him.

The controversy involving Ustaz Ebit Lew and Caprice started after Mondy Tatto revealed herself as a victim of sexual harassment by a religious scholar. In an interview on Caprice's podcast, the Indonesian woman even demonstrated the sexual harassment she experienced, linking it to Ustaz Ebit Lew's name.
Through his previous statement, Ustaz Ebit Lew referred to Mondy Tatto as a single mother punk woman.
"Unfortunately, his good intention to invite the woman who lives on the side of the road to live a decent life was shattered after Mondy Tatto removed her hijab."
