From a thorough investigation, it was determined that the number of suspects in the murder case of Eki and Vina Cirebon is only 9 people, not 11. 'So I want to emphasize here that the total number of suspects is not 11 but 9, so there is only 1 DPO,' said Director of General Crime Investigation (Dirkrimum) of the West Java Regional Police, Commissioner Surawan, in a press conference at the West Java Regional Police Headquarters on Sunday, May 26, 2024."
Surawan assures that the previous number of wanted persons appeared due to differences in statements from five suspects. "That's why we have been convincing all this time that there are 5 different statements from those suspects, some explaining three, some explaining three with different names, some explaining five, some explaining one," added Surawan.
From the results of in-depth investigation, according to Surawan, two mentioned names are confirmed to be invalid and only a statement of mentioning names. "The two names mentioned all this time are just mentioned names. So there are no other suspects," he emphasized.
