Dream - The detention of former Division Head of the Indonesian National Police's Professionalism and Security Division, Ferdy Sambo, is once again being questioned. This began with the statement of lawyer Alvin Lim, who claimed that Ferdy Sambo was never detained at Salemba Prison.
In the YouTube video with Dr. Richard Lee, Alvin revealed that the convicted murderer of Brigadier J slept elsewhere with air conditioning or AC. Alvin himself was recently released from Salemba Prison due to a forgery case.
"I'll tell you something interesting, Sambo said that he was never held in Lapas Salemba. His name was just there," said Alvin. "Sambo never slept in jail, in the KPLP office (Correctional Institution Security Unit) above, in a room with AC," he added.
The statement from Alvin was finally responded to by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs, Mahfud MD. Mahfud confirmed that Ferdy Sambo is no longer detained at Salemba Prison, Cipinang.

According to Mahfud, a prisoner is allowed to request a transfer of their place of punishment.
"And it's true that in a short time, Sambo was not able to meet Alvin in Cipanang because Alvin was sick and out in Bantar, how could he meet Sambo," said Mahfud. "So, if I shout while being in Cipinang, I never see Sambo, well, he's not there, he's sick, seriously sick, and I'm the one taking care of him," he added.
Although he has now moved, Mahfud MD stated that there is no special treatment for Ferdy Sambo.
"There is no special treatment for Sambo, in the past many people could pay for a guard like that, but in Sambo's case, Alvin lied."
