When receiving Lebaran THR money, some parents will suggest depositing it with them. The money will be given when the children ask for it. However, this one child took a different approach. He chose to save the Lebaran THR money for Hajj savings. A mother in a TikTok video account @arifahalfiyanti directed her son to deposit the Lebaran THR money into the Hajj savings. Her son agreed and was seen signing the necessary documents for the savings account.
"Why the hajj savings? Because when I left for hajj, my children were really affected, crying all the time wanting to join me on the hajj," said Arifah, the mother of the child.
In addition, the mother also considers the very long hajj queue, so she suggests her son to save for hajj since he was still young. She hopes that someday her child will have the opportunity to go on hajj at a young age. Arifah explained that opening a hajj savings account does not mean immediately getting a hajj quota. Because, the hajj quota can only be obtained when the child is already 12 years old.
Arifah also accompanied her child in filling out various documents required to open a hajj savings account. She also asked her child to fill out the registration form and sign it themselves.
