"Dr. Lo has just passed away at Kasih Ibu Hospital at 14.00 WIB and will be laid to rest at RD Thiong Ting, please pray for him," said Sumartono, as quoted from merdeka.com. Sumartono added that the doctor, known for his generosity and high social dedication, had been hospitalized since January 5th."

Dr. Lo is known as a dedicated figure in serving the social and health fields. His relentless dedication in providing healthcare services regardless of socioeconomic status has had a positive impact on many people.

The success of Dr. Lo cannot be separated from the guidance of Dr. Oen Boen Ing, a famous doctor in Solo who is also known as a philanthropist. Dr. Oen became a role model for him, until he finally decided to become a philanthropist doctor for the less fortunate residents of Solo.

Thanks to his generosity, the Indonesian Museum of World Records (MURI) awarded the Cultural Masterpiece award to Dr. Lo in 2020.
