Dream - Islam is a religion that greatly values cleanliness. A hadith, although its authenticity is still debated, even mentions cleanliness as part of faith. Muslims must always maintain cleanliness, both for themselves and their surroundings. One way to maintain personal hygiene is by regularly trimming nails. Nails can become a breeding ground for harmful germs and bacteria. To make it a worshipful act, Sahabat Dream should also not forget to recite a prayer before trimming nails.

"In the name of Allah, and by Allah's will, and following the tradition of Prophet Muhammad and the family of Prophet Muhammad, may the mercy of Allah and His peace be upon them."

In the book Fathul Bari by Ibn Hajar, it is stated that there is no authentic hadith explaining the sequence of cutting nails from the Prophet Muhammad. However, he exemplified starting everything from the right side first. Here is the procedure for cutting nails that can be practiced by Dream friends: Index finger of the right hand Middle finger of the right hand Ring finger of the right hand Little finger of the right hand (leave out the thumb of the right hand) Little finger of the left hand Ring finger of the left hand Middle finger of the left hand Index finger of the left hand Thumb of the left hand Thumb of the right hand.

Explained in the book al Minhaj Syarh Shahih Muslim by Imam an-Nawawi, it is stated that the right thumb should be cut after the right little finger without ending it together with the left thumb. Meanwhile, the procedure for cutting toenails starts from the right little toe and moves sequentially to the left little toe.

As per the teachings of Islam, the recommended time to trim nails is on Friday, following the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad saw. "From Abu Hurairah, the Prophet Muhammad saw trimmed his nails and shaved his mustache on Friday before going to pray." (HR. Al Baihaqi) Besides following the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad saw, trimming nails is also beneficial for the health of the body, as there are no germs or bacteria nesting in the nails. This is particularly dangerous when friends of Dream touch food and you consume that food.

Then, what if you cut your nails on another day? Cutting nails on Monday is believed to have virtues and bring blessings. Cutting nails on Tuesday can bring badness in the form of damage and destruction. Cutting nails on Wednesday can make morals become bad or not good. Cutting nails on Thursday can bring wealth. Cutting nails on Friday can bring goodness, namely increasing knowledge and a sign of courtesy.

Cutting nails on Saturday can make someone sick. Cutting nails on Sunday can bring bad things like not getting blessings.
